I never thought I'd be making a post like this, no matter how often I've signal boosted others.

My name is Caide, and me and my roommate Summer (@crystalhaunts) rescued a kitten off the street on Thursday (8/22/19).

His initial vet visit on Friday went well and was affordable, and so we decided to keep him. But on Sunday (8/25/19) he started showing issues breathing, he stopped eating, and worse he wouldn't drink. Today (8/26/19) we took Frank to the vet, only to find out that he was born with a hernia in his diaphragm, where his liver and colon have slipped through and made it hard to breathe. We've been told that the surgery can wait til he gets neutered, at around 4 months (he is currently about 2 months).

We have set up a GoFundMe, a patreon, and the both of us will be taking commissions to pay off his current and future bills. We want what's best for him, so if in the end it's better for us to find him a new home we will but for now we are going to keep him and take care of him as well as we can.
