ah yes finally! an updated commissions post! (link to my art tag!)
i’ll cut to the chase - the other day, i was informed that i was going to have to start working part-time due to my boss not being able to support me full-time any more. i was told it will “only be for a few months”, but unfortunately, i will not be able to pay my bills or get gas/groceries on part-time wage. in the mean time, doing commissions will be a great use of my extra time (along with looking for another, better paying job). PLUS my car is in need of maintenance + a new battery, which i of course use to drive to work/the store/job interviews, and of course it isn't cheap. if i no longer have a car to drive, i was told that i was “on my own” after that, so yikes.
