I wish I could’ve enjoyed the sweet cinematography more, but I was incredibly distracted by the shitty dub I was forced to listen to.
It’s impossible to get the original Swedish version of Commander Hamilton (1998) in Germany. I had the option to either watch the German dub (DVD from amazon.de, movie version) or the English dub (DVD from amazon.co.uk, movie version). The only full length (mini series), Swedish, uncut version that seems to exist atm seems to be on amazon.com prime video with MHz abo (or mhzchoice.com), but I can’t get either, because it won’t let me pay with a non-US credit card. So I had to resort to watching the German dub, which was horrible. [I actually ordered a DVD from amazon.co.uk which claimed to be in Swedish, but ended up being in German (dafuq?) and the censored version to boot!]
BUT, since I had the DVD here, might as well make use of it. So at least I got about 600 sexy screenshots out of it. I’ll pbbly make some gifs, too, but likely without quotes, ‘cause I can’t watch the OV, and nobody wants to read the German translation.
I swear, one day I’ll fly to Sweden and scour every single media shop for a f’ing copy of that damn movie in OV!
