#command type gears

I’m under the impression that a lot of people are only assuming there are 3 Episodes remaining because of what has currently been Preloaded to certain streaming sites, but I haven’t actually seen an official confirmation on how many episodes Dual Rulers will ultimately have.

If we do only get 8 Episodes in total, it’s a lot smaller than your typical 12 Episode show. Some shows even go for 13 episodes.

Well, in any case, each episode is quite packed with information so far, so it’s taken a while to digest.

The mystery for Sin was implied to be something akin to a proxy of Dizzy’s guardian Necro, or at least an equivalent, based on GG2 Overture Material stories, but we haven’t actually seen it. At most we’ve seen Black Lightning emanating from his eye patch, and even Venom sensed something sinister from it as well.

The whole Darkside thing actually originated from Survival Mode, but it seems to occur when most characters lose their sanity, like with Elphelt at the end of Xrd: Sign.

Well, I say that, but it’s also not much different from a Gear going Berserk.

Most sentient Gears have the capacity to at least “somewhat” resist Command Type orders, the only exception being the O.P.U.S. Gears who have no will or identity whatsoever.

But the effect is something like a massive migraine. Even Sol experienced a great deal of “Noise” from Solaria’s singing, and early encounters with the Valentines. Dizzy also had a headache when she had to endure the effects of the Justice Copy that Crow Kuruwaba once built.

Now, that’s actually “Noise” from the effects of ONE Gear, multiply that by TWO and you get this “Dual Rulers Effect” from the Virus.

So basically it’s like every cell in your body wants to disobey you, and registers that with physical pain resonance. It would possibly incapacitate most weaker Gears who experience it.

And let’s also not forget that Justice had influence over Demihumans with her Commands, not just Gears from her series, as Izuna once told us! So this could have very far reaching effects!

Aside that effect, it will probably wake Gears that have been Dormant or Sealed for many years, particularly the more dangerous ones, so that might become a serious problem before long.

And, last but not least, this could have a dire effect on Ky, since he’s part Gear at this point! Dizzy as well.

As for Unika’s past and memories, it might be an effect of Time Travel, or something related to experiments done to her by Nerville, it’s hard to know for sure.

It’s also possible that Unika was originally human and simply had Dizzy or Sin’s genes grafted in to her body, if she wasn’t a Natural born Half Gear to begin with (but it’s speculation until proven).

It’s also possible that Nerville kidnapped her from the Kiskes as a child as part of his grand scheme… still hard to say for sure.

Happy Chaos has the ability to control people to a certain extent, but we don't exactly have a clear idea of what limit there is with him in particular.

What can be said (at least with regard to Command Type Gears), is that they have enough self-awareness and willpower to at least resist "commands" from their own kind... which is essentially what Sol warned Dizzy about with regards to the Justice Copy that was created by Crow Kuruwaba a good 6 years prior.

Command Type Gears can also control Youkai, as Valentine did during her campaign against Izuna's tribe. Even though a Valentine is not necessarily as powerful as a Command Type Gear like Justice or Dizzy, they can still hold a great influence over certain kinds of beings, not just Gears created from their own series (like was the case with Justice).

In Happy Chaos' case, he could control normal humans and brainwash them in to doing or thinking whatever he wanted, and even give them a limited scope of self-awareness at the same time... which is a bit more advanced than even the brainwashing Valentine performed on Sin Kiske.

He was even able to manipulate Anji Mito temporarily, which had near fatal results.

If Happy Chaos wanted to, he could probably also manipulate Sol and Dizzy if they were caught unawares, but there's probably also a "trick" to being able to do that, especially given that Sol himself survived an encounter with Bedman in the Backyard.

It wasn’t really a “salvage”, because what he was doing was “breeding” his own Command Type Gears, based on the limited specs he was able to obtain from Justice.

However the process was not perfected, as he required young children to serve as a base (which was why there were kidnapping reports in England at the time).

It was because the process wasn’t perfect that twins like Marina and Solaria who were “compatible” with Gear Cells, still weren’t able to become true Command Types.

Solaria was unable to “sing” properly, and her songs had an adverse effect on Gear Cells and those who carried them.
