Jughead had planned a whole day just doing all her favourite things. How lucky is she to have fallen in love with her best friend who knows her about as well as she knows herself.
She was so nervous about this! It felt momentous, after all this time, to finally go on a proper date, the two of them. But Jughead knew exactly how to make it enjoyable and just lovely all around. Instead of being a nervous wreck all day, they’d had the best time. And this evening, at the dance, would just be icing on the cake.
Determined to understand just why people go nuts over the holidays, Jughead Jones, beat reporter extraordinaire delves headfirst into What Makes the Season Bright. But even his editor, Toni Topaz, can’t seem to set him on the right path.
Instead, Toni calls in a favor from a friend and ships Jughead out to the cozy town of Riverdale. There he meets Betty Cooper, locally known as the Christmas Queen, owner of the country’s largest ornament store. Try as she might, Betty can’t get Jughead to see past the commercial overtones and to the true spirit of what the holidays are really about. At least, not until a major snowstorm unexpectedly forces Jughead to spend Christmas with the Cooper family.
