Just read Immortal Hulk and holy shit one of the best comics of all time. Never thought anyone could get me to give a damn about the Hulk but here we are. Anyhow partner (and I tangentially) has been working on a Joe/Bruce and Peter fic about them ending up on the run together. Peter's really confused why his travel partner keeps gaining and losing an accent.
im serious about shipping loki and joe fixit btw i think once they (maily joe since loki was real bad back in the day, but joe himself has mellowed out too) see how the other has changed i think they could get along well. i could see them being fuck buddies of a sort and loki could provide the occasional safe space when the government is hot on banner's trail.
(plus they both got the awful abusive fathers and dead mom thing in common, tho wether laufey killed loki's mom is up for interpretation. and i do realize that the childhood abuse is more of a bruce hang-up than a joe one but shhh let me have this)
Bruce 100% hates it tho and so Devil is p against it too, Hulk is against it too since he's used to loki being an enemy and changing that will take alot of work (i think planet hulk-hulk would feel the same but idk much about him yet) (edit: i wrote this before i finished immortal hulk, my main points still stand tho. also i finished planet hulk and WWhulk and i think worldbreaker wouldn't care honestly)
