He's incredibly tall. I imagine earlier generation Iterators are taller, and as the generations increased, the heights decreased. Suns is one of the taller ones, only outmatched by Looks to the Moon and Sliver of Straw

Very kind and professional pre-collapse. She tries to keep up appearances, but it begins to die down when she's about to collapse

Very tall, and unlike most Iterators, prefers to stand instead of float. That way, she's a little more on the level of others.

I believe later-gen Iterators were usually disliked by Ancients and not as respected as older-gens.

As a result, Pebbles didn't see many of his Citizens. He was made to lessen the load for Moon, after all.

Very expressive even though he doesn't like to admit it. His antennae move like ears to express emotion (pinning back, perking, etc)

Over time, he becomes less angry about his situation. This is shown in canon, but I have more thoughts about it.

When Moon interrupts him, he was genuinely so close to rewriting his genomes. That's why he was angry. It was a delicate process, and Moon broke his concentration, causing the Rot and him to fail.

When Spearmaster shows up to try and talk Pebbles down from doing all of this, he's still bitter and angry. He believes Suns doesn't trust him enough, so he feels betrayed by his dearest friend.

When Artificer shows up, Moon has since collapsed. He starts to feel guilty, but he doesn't like to admit it. He knows it was his fault, he killed her, but he doesn't want to unpack that. He doesn't want to see the blood on his hands.

When Hunter shows up, he's calmed down significantly. He sees Hunter's Green Neuron and guides Hunter to Moon. He wants her to be okay again...

When Rivulet shows up, he's already succumbed to most of his Rot. He realizes he's doomed, and there's nobody to blame but himself. It wasn't Moon's fault for interrupting him. He was killing her, and she was begging him to stop, but he never did. He regrets that, now. In his last attempt at righting his wrongs, he gives his Rarefaction Cell.

When Saint shows up, most of his cognitive abilities are gone. He may as well be a shell of his former self, but it's okay. As long as Moon was better off than him...

No Significant Harassment:

I HC that the Collector can change their age, like an age shifter. They're a God, who says they can't do that?

The reason I think they can do that is because whenever they were imprisoned in the mirror, they never had a chance to really "grow up." By canon standards, they were around a VERY long time, and sure, being imprisoned in the mirror might have stopped aging completely, but I think that their personality can determine their age. They didn't know about mortality and had to be taught, implying that their siblings (the Archivists) never taught them SHIT. Maybe if they actually knew things and were taught things, they wouldn't be so childlike!

I also HC that, eventually, King gives the Collector a nickname like "Colli" so it'd be easier to say than "Collector." Because, after all, how many Collectors are out there? We only see Colli on the Boiling Isles but what about the Archivists? Where are they? It'd be nice to give them a little nickname!

I HC that trustworthy people associated with the Emperor's Coven get to keep their palismen, like Lilith and Raine. Raine's palisman seems to be their fox on their violin and Lilith's is, as expected due to familial relation, is a bird. They both had a reason to stay there- Lilith for Eda's sake, Raine the same- so it was highly unlikely that they'd betray Belos until absolutely necessary

I imagine if a Collector dies, they become a star in the night sky. I just thought that'd be cute. This doesn't really come into play unless Colli (or a secret character >:3) dies, but it did come into play when my partner and I created an AU called the Fallen Star AU where Colli protects King from Belos similar to how Luz protects Colli. I like angst, what can I say?

I also hc that all Collectors don't like liars because, as shown by Colli, he always wants to do pinky swears as a sort of "contract" (even if it isn't the most reliable one)

I hc that the Archivists are on another planet as their home and are waiting for a time to strike, and maybe they might've shown up if Disney didn't cancel TOH.

I HC that Colli also has scars from when Belos' lichen shit started attaching to their arms and spreading

Similarly, I think the reason it took a long time for it to infect them is because of their Godly status and powers

Also, unrelated to the other HC's, I HC that King 100% sleeps in weird positions like my fucking dog. One day he's fucking twisted and laying on his back and Eda walks in and breathes through her teeth like "How tf is that comfortable?"

I also hc that King's glyph(s) are more Titan-like, as shown by the Light glyph in the finale, because he's actually alive unlike his father

Also I think the Archivists and Colli have never really bled before due to their strength, so if they get a cut or injury, they kind of have a moment of panic upon seeing their own blood

Similarly, I think their blood would be purple or something abnormal like that. Purple and blue are my guesses, maybe red like a red star

I also HC that all Collectors have some phase of the moon on them, like how Colli has a crescent moon. Maybe one of them had/has a blood moon marking on them, or a full moon, or something! And I think that'd correlate to their power and/or their blood color. Maybe full-mooned Collectors are stronger, though that doesn't mean crescent-mooned Collectors are weak. It just depends on how well they can use their magic and have trained for it!

Get ready for a long explanation LMAO

So! I made various OCs called Voidcats. They are entities from the Void Sea and they enter the mortal plane for Purposes. There are different Purposes depending on the time, such as the Mass Ascension of the Ancients, and in this current life, the Voidcats are tasked with killing the Rot. Five Pebbles has a bad case of the Rot, and in our AUs, we have made the Void Sea a sapient deity. As a result, it doesn't want the Rot to spread beyond containment. If the Rot goes past Pebbles' structure, it could be detrimental.

There's another character, named Nothing Sacred, an Iterator who tried to use the Rot to become stronger and to live with it in harmony, but he was not successful. The Void Sea needs the Voidcats to clear up his mistake, too.

There are five normal Voidcats, each with a space-themed name. There's Galactic, a Voidcat who is the largest among the group and is incredibly battle-scarred, fluffy, and gruff. They go by they/them pronouns, and they're a Voidcat of a few words. They don't like talking very much unless they trust the people around them.

Then there's Astral and Nova. They are brother and sister respectively (he/him and she/her pronouns, both trans). Astral is the medic of the group, using the power of the Void Sea to heal wounds (with limitations, as to not be overpowered). Nova is the quick one-- think Rivulet, but even faster. She is swift and can cover long distances rather effortless.

Then there's Nebula (they/it). They're the leader of the group. They are one of two Voidcats especially connected to the Void Sea and its powers, hence why they're the leader. Each Voidcat is connected to the Void Sea, of course, but Nebula is the one who can hone their skills the best.

Lastly, there's Stardust (he/they). He's the youngest of the group and the most child-like among them in personality. He's technically an adult, but he might as well be a pup compared to the other Voidcats (he was created last). He believes everyone deserves a second chance, if they choose to work for it. He is also very connected to the Void Sea.

The Voidcats are some of my most developed OCs. There's a lot of info regarding them!

Their original Purpose in this life as Slugcats, as previously explained, was to get rid of the Rot. They've been other creatures depending on the given Purpose, like Ancients during the Mass Ascension. In this current form, they take on a Slugcat appearance because it's the easiest form to use to get into Iterator structures, as shown by all of the campaigns in-game.

The group was going to help Pebbles with his Rot, but things took a devastating turn. There's a character named Angel, created by Sliver of Straw, who was meant to be the Triple Affirmative-- someone who would be able to Ascend living beings, sending them to the Void Sea. Unfortunately, all Angel does is glorified murder, and the Void Sea does not approve of Angel messing with fate. As a result, the Voidcats have a new Purpose: stop Angel and Sliver of Straw.

More context: Sliver of Straw was turned into a Slugcat for this AU, which is what happens with all of the Iterators when they're returned to the Cycle.

No Significant Harassment created Radiance, an artificial Voidcat. Radiance is an attempt to counter the oncoming threats, and the Voidcats have very... complicated feelings.

Nebula, Nova, and Galactic are wary about this development. Creating an artificial Voidcat comes with risks, ones they didn't think Sig would, well, risk. Similarly, they didn't know this was possible. The Void Sea and Jerry (the Void Worm) are very intrigued by this development. Sig is like their favorite little guy LMAO

Stardust is excited about this creation. He thinks everyone deserves a chance to live and to be loved.

Then there's Astral. He's the medic, focusing on what is natural. He is horrified by the creation. He believes Radiance should never have been created, that it's too risky, that there's a possibility that Radiance will suffer because a lot of Void Fluid was used in her creation. He wants Sig to destroy Radiance, which he obviously denies.

Oh DEFINITELY!!

I imagine the Rot, when infecting a creature, acts like a stomach parasite in a way. When the creature eats, the Rot absorbs most of the nutrients to get stronger before it can take over the creature, like Hunter.

As per the previous bullet point, I imagine that's why Hunter eats so much.

The Rot, if it manages to infect an Iterator's puppet, can, well, puppet it. The Iterator would be lost to the disease, and much like Hunter Long Legs, would be mobile. They'd be torn from their mechanical arm and umbilical.

Depending on the sentience of the Rot, it may be able to speak to its host like The Prince in the Watcher.

The Rot can infect a creature through open wounds and through bodily fluids, like blood.

The Rot has 3 stages of infection.

Stage 1 which are minor symptoms: lethargy, loss of appetite, chronic pain, and throwing up black ichor/bile.

Stage 2: physical symptoms start to show. It starts as one cyst before it begins to slowly multiply into more, and the creature's body becomes paler. Their eyes become cloudier. Their fur (if the creature has fur) becomes more rough and ragged since the creature can't maintain it well enough. Similarly, the creature's claws begin to become overgrown due to not having enough energy to file them down. Small tentacles begin to form with the cysts.

(Going off of the last point, I imagine Hunter Long Legs has overgrown nails that can't even sheathe fully anymore. Idea was by @twilightscug / @twilightartist)

Stage 3: The worst stage. The creature is becoming overridden with cysts. Longer tentacles begin to form and the Rot becomes more aggressive, as does the creature. The creature is more irritable, their eyes practically entirely cloudy, and the creature begins to bleed more. Any wounds they get take longer to heal, and as more cysts and tentacles sprout, their skin begins to tear to make room for the "bountiful harvest." When the cysts reach the host's head and there's enough of them, their brain is then overcome and they start to transform into a Long Legs.

If there is a cure for the Rot, I imagine it'd have to have Karma Flowers. The reason for this is because, when Hunter becomes HLL, you can find a Karma Flower in a perma-death room in other campaigns. In my AUs with my partner and my friend, my OC The Void's Echo manages to make a cure for the Rot, made from Void Fluid and Karma Flowers.

I'll start with Daybreak (She/her). She is one of my favorite OCs because she is such a tragic character. She is the Administrator of the Local Group of canon Iterators (plus some OCs) because she was built as a prototype. She isn't locked to her structure, but the Ancients realized making Iterators who were "off the string" was too expensive, so Daybreak was the only one made who wasn't attached to her structure.

She loved Sliver of Straw, and when Sliver passed away, she was absolutely heartbroken. Despite being the Administrator of the Local Group, she cut off her Communications because she was so upset. She watched Sliver die. Sliver was killed by Angel (@twilightscug's oc) who, at the time, had just been a pup and was doing what they thought was right. This was their purpose, right? To Ascend living beings, to send them away? Daybreak was furious.

When Sliver came back as a Slugcat, she reunited with Daybreak. Daybreak has been scheming, planning to properly Ascend the Local Group so they don't have to feel the pain Daybreak went through. She wants everyone to live in the Great Beyond, free from their prisons, free from their emotional turmoil. Pebbles was dying from the Rot, Suns was suffering because he can't contact Pebbles, same with Sig, Unparalleled Innocence is bitter because of her experiences, Looks to the Moon is on the verge of collapse because of Pebbles, and Souls Left Behind (a self-insert for Twilightscug) was going to collapse eventually.

She wants to free them. She wants to save them. So, she partners up with Sliver and Angel, believing Angel has what it takes to free everyone. She didn't know Angel was not the Triple Affirmative, but rather the False Affirmative.

This isn't helped by the fact that Daybreak is under Orders from an Ancient who never Ascended...

Purity (She/they/it) is a Slugcat that was made by Daybreak. She is a proper Triple Affirmative, a successful one. She can actually Ascend things, similar to Saint (who Sliver thought was a failed experiment, hence why Angel was created). I haven't fully developed her yet, but she's one of the main villains along with Daybreak (though they both get redeemed later). She believes she is doing something right. She wants everyone to be free, too.

Nothing Sacred (He/him) is an Iterator who is incredibly tragic, too. He's spent many cycles studying the Rot and attempting to harness its abilities and powers ever since Seven Feathers Upon Astral Planes (now known as Astral) tried to study the Rot, too. He wants to use the Rot for good, to have it help instead of devour. This doesn't work out, and he ends up creating Sentient Rot (like from the Watcher). His puppet and his entire region around his Superstructure becomes infected, and he's basically controlled by the Rot. The Rot tears him from his structure, severing his mechanical arm and umbilical, and he becomes basically an Iterator version of Hunter Long Legs. The difference is that he's fully conscious and aware of what he's doing, but he can't stop the Rot. It's basically a parasite piloting his body like that one zombie disease fungus that affects ants.

The Void's Echo (they/them) was close with Nothing Sacred, maybe even crushed on him. Unparalleled Innocence was part of this little trio, so she was also close with both of them. The Void's Echo, ever since Nothing Sacred stopped responding and was presumed deceased, began to study the Rot to try and figure out a cure. They are far more careful with their studies, working to try and prevent future instances of Rot infestations if they can. They succeed in creating a cure, but their structure is in a horrible state. You see, as punishment, their old Administrator (one of the Ancients) destroyed a part of their structure and Communications because Void was so defiant and tried to protect Souls Left Behind (they/them) from their own Administrator. As a result, Void is also close to collapsing, and can't even contact anyone. They've been alone for a very, very long time.

Vortex (he/him) is a Slugcat purposed organism made by Void. He was originally made to send pearls to fellow Iterators when their Communications were destroyed, but he stopped doing so because Void's condition began to get worse. He wants to be there for them, and if anyone shows up at Void's structure, he can guide them to Void.

*She walked over to the trio, sitting down on a chair nearby.*

"You guys are pretty famous for being able to remember most challengers that face you, since it takes a while to get to you. If the face doesn't ring a bell, but you still recognize them, then maybe he was somebody who's been riding the subway lately? I'm sure you guys recognize your regulars."

*She shrugged, looking down at the Emolga instead of any of the people in the room.*

"If someone new started consistently riding the subway, I'm sure you'd notice, even if not consciously. You guys are pretty busy and can't really memorize every passenger, but you're observant enough to clock someone different from the usual fare."

The twins seemed contemplative. If this individual was someone who rid on the subway often, then it'd make sense as to why both of them recognized the man. Something didn't sit well with either of them, however.

"That... is true," Ingo piped up as he began to fidget with the button on his trench coat. He felt the metal between his fingers and continued to rub the soothing material. "We often recognize our regulars. You are correct in that regard."

Emmet nodded in agreement and straightened their posture. They tapped their chin as they remained deep and thought with their eyes staring off into space. If anyone was in their line of sight, it felt as though they were staring straight through them.

"Friendship evolutions... I am Emmet. Pokemon have good judgment. That doesn't mean I like him," they suddenly declared with a huff. "A man can love his Pokemon, but be a horrible person. There's just... something about him..."
