Unit 5 also required the use of combination printing in order to create a perfect exposure, which was used by pioneering photographers such as; Henry Peach Robinson and Gustave Le Gray. Using the window as the only source of light, the aim was to show focus indoors and outside the window. I think that this image is successful due to the amount of detail shown in the background which emphasises focus shown on the outside. :)Â
