“Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.”

!!!! okay for the past few years my relationship with my mom has been in a strange, uncertain kind of way because of my personal problems that i didn’t want to let her know. one day i just couldn’t take it anymore - by it i mean life in general because i was (still am? sorta) in a pretty bad place - so i just talked to her and confided (mostly) everything that i needed to tell, and she told me something along the lines of “i bore you for months by myself, when everybody left me. in a way, you were there when nobody else was. as your mother i will never turn my back on you, no matter what” and that means SO SO much to me.

my answer to this ask was supposed to be pretty lighthearted but i just revealed something precious to me and i’m okay with that, because im proud and happy with my mom.

Hedwig: If you went to Hogwarts, what kind of pet would you bring? (ex: cat, owl, rat, frog)

Prolly a cat bc why not, they’re pretty cool but if they allow Rhinoceros beetles or  then fucking hell yeah I would take one along with me to Hogwarts!! They’re so cute and aaaaah!!!!! !! ! !!!!

FUN STORY about flaming cocktails. I escorted my roommate to our local anime convention, and the flux of weeaboo teenagers was a little too strong. We therefore retreated to a cocktail lounge for some peace and quiet. 

I ordered a standard strong-ass drink to take the edge off of the near-critical exposure to teenagers, but when my roommate’s was delivered, the bartender’s eyes lit up. He was grinning as he asked, “Sooooo, can I do it?”

We were naturally very ... about what he meant, and when he cottoned on that we have no idea wtf he meant, he elaborated. “I never get to do it because it’s usually too crowded, but this drink is meant to be set on fire.”

We shared a look, and both of us said, “Do it.”
