Here is a little demonstration how to burnish your prismacolor pencils to get a smooth blending and oil like appearance I already layed down 2 colors of peach and crimson lake ,to get a smooth look I go over the colors with a white pencil and blend both colors together :) you can go back and forth many times until you get the color contrast you like this is pretty much the only natural way you can do this I know of artists who use tupertine to smooth out pencilwork but I'm sensitive to fumes etc and try and stay away from harmful art mediums and please remember to use a thick surface as such Bristol board or hot arches watercolor no drawing paper please burnish takes a lot of work and may be abrasive to thinner lighter surfaces hope you found this helpful 💖🌺🌸 #colorpenciltutorial #prismacolor #colorpencil #burnishing #art #arttutorial
