Why is Pancake crying? Cuz he just got dunked on.... almost #TheGrandSlams #CollegeSlam

Dear readers, I come to you upset at the NCAA College slam dunk contest. Why? Well here is why, here at WT we have a student named Antjuan Ball who plays for the basketball team and was elected to become the dark horse dunker for the dunk contest college slam was hosting April 2nd. So for Ball to get in he had to beat 16 people in voting by the fans before the dunk contest. Antjuan went to the finals and only had one more man to beat so he can get in to the contest, that person is Davene Carter. When voting closed for this is was announced that Antjuan won with more votes than carter. This means that Antjuan would be going to Indy to participate in the slam dunk contest for college basketball. Here’s where things go sideways, apparently someone made a fake account on Facebook under Amarillo press and they were offering free gas cards to whoever voted for Antjuan. This was a fake account and it was reported to the NCAA because it’s against rules. College slam then changes the website to show that Carter won the contest and he will get in the dunk contest. So with many people in outrage they called and complained about this, so college slam decides to do a dunk off between them and have the fans vote again to see who would win. Now let me state that Mr. Ball already won this basically, if it wasn’t for someone that made the fake account none of this would even be discussed. The NCAA fly’s both the gentlemen to Indy where the contest is being held, so I’m thinking oh since they flew them both out they’ll both get to compete in the contest even if one does lose. Well was I wrong. Carter won because he got more fan votes. So Antjuan was flown all the way to Indy to just sit there and watch everyone else have fun and dunk. Why not have them send the dunks in and then who ever loses doesn’t get sent to Indy and look dumb just watching? I say they should have had them both participate because I’m sure this had to upset Antjuan. He was flown all the way there to find out he lost the voting? Why not have the judge’s votes as well instead of just the fans had since you flew them out to Indy. So as you can see I believe there are many flaws in the way that the NCAA and college slam did this whole thing, but who am I? I’m just a guy sitting behind a laptop with an opinion. What do i know?
