I know. But relax, I’m here now.

Today’s post won’t be about fashion… But I’m sure it’s something you all can relate to.

Have yall ever had to work for a hatin’ a** boss? For someone who always doubts your abilities? For someone who talks to you like you’re an incompetent imbecile? NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, IT’S never enough. If you’re side-eyeing your screen and thinking, “uhhhm… noooo, u crazy lady,” then you’re blessed. (Waaaaayyyy up, youshouldfeelBLESSED *drake voice).

Now for those of you who have been in this situation: come with me. Let’s have a few shots of tequila & go for a walk (just be prepared for me to stop & twerk sumn to the music in my head; blame the tequila).

Lordt. Today. Was. A. Mess. I need a hug. But I’m 2000+ miles away from friends and family.

I do a lot at my job. But apparently it wasn’t enough. Because today she told me I don’t take initiative & that I don’t have enough experience. Mind you, I just graduated in May 2015 (#hoosiernation). She also said that I’m not ready to move up in the company. She told me I’d have to drop down a position.

Yall.

That means my pay will be cut in half. I’d make like one dollar more than the cashiers at my job. I didn’t go to college for that, bruh.

HERE’S THE BEST PART. After being told that I need to drop down… I was told there were no positions open. And that they’re going to dismiss me in 4 weeks, unless something comes up.

So now I’m looking for a job. But I don’t have experience smh. This is going to be a struggle. 😩. But things happen the way they are supposed to. So I'm remaining focused.

Even though I'm focused and going to be positive, I'm still frustrated. But I’m gonna turn this frustration into art. Which is why I decided to share this story with yall. My frustrations are bringing out the artist in me. So if you’re going though something right now, take those emotions & create something beautiful.
