Often times it is extremely difficult to find new music that is worthy of keeping on repeat let alone putting on my iPod. I gave up on finding new music on the radio and even some of the "Music" blogs on the web share nothing but recycled garbage. However, if you truly want to find something nice you have to search for it in spite of the constant WACKNESS. 

With that said I think I found two talented artists that will without a shadow of a doubt be undisputed stars in the music industry. 

In mid August my song B.A.M. By All Means was featured on the CollegeDJ.net Sound Check mixtape Vol. 2. I was a bit busy handling administrative duties with my music to listen to the mixtape when it first came out but I knew I wanted to check out some of the other artists. Yesterday I set aside some time to listen to the mixtape and one word I can use to describe it is #DOPE. 

The Executive Producer and hosting DJ DJ DScott did an excellent job picking out all of the artists and truly had an excellent ear for quality music. Now mind you I don't want to take anything away from any of the other artists that are featured on the mixtape with me, but as I stated before two of the featured artists stood out to me so much that I had to tell others about them. 

 First and foremost I have to introduce to those that aren't familiar and present to those that are Ms. "Candis". This up and coming femcee hails from Brooklyn, New York and is an absolute animal on the mic. Now just off appearance one may assume they can determine what they will hear from this artist, but please don't play yourself. This young lady has #BAHZ. 

Her SheIsHipHop mixtape is currently available on DatPiff.com and I must say it was well put together from start to finish. One thing I truly appreciate about female Hip Hop artists is their ability to maintain their sex appeal, feminism, and spunk while also over delivering quality lyrics, hard hitting punchlines, and a relentless attitude. 

Candis spares no expense while telling her story through soulful heartfelt lyrics. She also infuses her personality so well into her music that you can almost imagine seeing the emotions on her face while she records. It's one thing to rap written or freestyle lyrics, but another to truly tell a story through music and in My Opinion Candis was born to do so.

All in all if Candis continues to stay on her grind and keep making great music we will definitely see her reigning supreme as one of the best femcees in the game. Oh by the way she was nominated for the UMA Best Female Rapper. What more can I say....Stay tuned and be sure to download her latest project as well. 

The next artist I would like to speak about is Jesse Idol. Jesse hails from Newark, New Jersey and has instant star appeal.This artist made me love R&B music again. Truth be told I gave up on mainstream & some independent Hip Hop and I was about to do the same for R&B, but I have had a change of heart. 

Nowadays a lot male R&B artists are talent-less vocally, but appealing to the eye so they just rely on racy videos & shirtless performances to make up for their mediocre skills. I'm so thankful to God that Jesse is actually TALENTED!

I heard his single Love Lust on the mixtape and I was extremely impressed with the lyrics. I love how honest they are and can even relate them to personal experiences. Most of the time artists make songs about what they think fans want to hear, but they fail to realize that they are human beings just like regular consumers and the best music In My Opinion is the music that is truly relate-able to the average person. 

Jesse did a great job speaking from the prospective of a man that may be a bit to apprehensive to express how he fills in the predicament of being in Love, but dealing with the issue of Lust.

This artist deserves all the success he gets and if he continues to release great music, brand himself, and stay on his grind success won't ever be far behind. 

So in My Opinion fashion I will support any claim I ever make about something I discover. I do know that others may feel as they feel, but as stated before Only My Opinion Matters...
