So I have gone to the gym every day (except Sunday's...rest is important!!!!!!) for the past two weeks and I feel fucking fantastic. My workouts have increased from an hour to two, and I've incorporated so many more exercises that make me feel strong and beautiful. I think I'll always have some fat on my tummy due to my birth control, but that shouldn't matter so long as I am getting out there. My mileage has also increased from ~1.5 miles a day to ~5.5!!!! I saw a girl from my would-be college team and it made me sad for like 0.5 seconds before I remembered how miserable competitive sports make me. I'm happy being free to do what I want, however much or however little that may be. No one has any expectations but myself, and I meet them every gym sesh. Here's to happy.
