In which, after days of deliberation and quite intense procrastination, she finally decides to get to work and catchup on the courses she refused to study throughout the week, while, of course, listening to some indie alt rock playlist. It helps settle the right mood. The past few days at uni were hectic and chaotic to say the least (it is messy, very very very messy) and there are hundreds of things to do (among them: find a internship and apply for fundings? huh?) but I’m trying my best to convince myself that I am capable of it all! Even if the world is collapsing. 

unfortunately, I didn’t gain the scholarship back. I was this )( close but it’s pretty impressive considering I wasn’t feeling well at all. Next semester I’ll try my best!

After a hectic semester, a chaotic internship and a well deserved break... I’m finally starting my masters degree! Our university is going for a hybrid system (one week online, one week at uni,  our class being divided into two groups) with most of our classes online to respect social distancing as much as possible. Just had my first quantum physics lecture (the first one in quite a long time) and so far, so good. Bonus: made some matcha latte during our 15 minute break to make it until the end of our lecture. Best of luck to all those starting their new semester this month!

The title pretty much says it all -- I’ve found a lot of comfort in biking recently (I already went biking three times in less than a week), perhaps because I truly missed getting to exercise and doing outdoor activities. Although the weather isn’t always the best, I always manage to use the only hour of pure sunshine at my advantage. Biking definitely helps clear my mind and  be in  a better headspace. I may be a little late on my readings/assignments/whatever but when I bike I don’t feel any kind of guilt (surprisingly) -- nothing but joy and appreciation for fall. 

I got up early so I could study for a few more hours before this abstract algebra exam, but instead I think I spent more time watching the sunrise.
