Giving this about an hour and a half tonight. Collab project returned from Lisa Chun, four 2-sided cards. Lisa has touched them twice. My second go. Seems a good and fun idea to sequence them in this fashion with a common aquifer. No cutting board in suitcase. This means scissors which is rarely used. Found an envelope of pre-adhesived bits from previous projects. Looks like a decent fit in terms of palette and tone.

Collage Castell

At festivals in Catalonia, Spain, large groups of people come together to build human towers. Slowly and carefully people position themselves to form a base. Then a band plays the Toc de Castells and the rest of the people take their positions up the tower until the final person reaches the top. The crowd cheers and the castellers quickly disassemble, returning everyone safely to the ground. These athletic feats are noted for their skill and strength, but they celebrate our capacity as human beings to work together. People are amazing. This tradition inspired Collage Castell, a collaborative collage making project and exchange that is part of Kolaj LIVE Online.
