Welcome to Kafenetwork’s first hosted event! In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, we wanted to create a fun gift exchange where you have the chance to create something special for someone else! Read below for more details!

❆ — EVENT DETAILS:

you do not have to be a member to apply.

if not currently a member, you must follow the network.

reblog this post.

you will be paired with someone that you get to make content for (whether it be a moodboard, fic, gif, etc).

your identity is meant to be hidden until the posting week comes up for this event.

with this being said, you will be sending anonymous asks to your assigned person at least once a week.

if you have turned your anonymous button off for personal reasons, please take note of that in the application.

when sending asks, they can be of anything. you can get to know them more (without revealing who you are) and make this experience fun!

after you apply, the admin will message you privately about who your partner is and some details about them.

after receiving this message you have all the time to create!

❆ — EVENT SPECIFICS:

weekly requirements contain sending anonymous asks under a cute nickname that will be chosen upon applying. whoever is your assigned partner will be the one you will communicate with. make sure that this is done anonymously.

you have a few choices for a cute nickname when sending an anonymous ask, your options will be available in the application.

after the application period is over, the admin will message you with all the event details and important things about your person.

there will be a project server that is dedicated only to this event. this is how the admin/mod will communicate to you about things pertaining to this event. we suggest that you have discord for this but if you do not we can make it work. keyword for application is: seasons greetings

any of the content you make for your partner should be made specifically for them and not a continuation of a current project you have going on. make this personal and special for that person.

❆ — TIMELINE:

October 19 - October 26 | signups (will close early if all spots are filled before last day)

October 27 - October 29 | admins will contact you about event pairings

October 30 - December 14 | content creating and anonymously messaging your partner

December 14 - December 20 | posting week and seeing who your partner is

December 21 | masterlist is created
