That is a perfect summary of the ever-so passionate and destructive love between Zuzanna “Zula” Linchoń & Wiktor Warski in Paweł Aleksander Pawlikowski’s Historical/Romantic-Drama, “Zimna wojna” (Cold War, 2018). 💏👫💗 If ever there was a love between two people whose relationship was fueled by desire, intimacy, and obsession, it would be the one between a couple with a HUGE age gap and personalities that are polar opposites of one another. Such a couple is Zula & Wiktor, beautifully performed by Joanna Kulig & Tomasz Kot, respectively. 😄👏🏻 Madame Kulig yours truly had fallen deeply in-love with ever since having first witnessed her in Małgorzata Szumowska’s Erotic/Drama, “Elles” (2011), and Anne Fontaine’s period piece, “Les Innocentes” (The Innocents, 2016). She is an absolute marvel!!! 😍❤️ Natural and raw in every aspect of her being. Beauty, grace, charisma, intellect, talent, and above all else, the fiery, fierce, untamed personality of Joanna Kulig, both as a performer and human being, is what resulted in my heart being stolen, never to return! ☺️💘 Zuzanna “Zula” Linchoń was the anchor that held my attention throughout Paweł Pawlikowski passionate love story, which can be strongly attributed to Madame Kulig’s marvelous performance! 👰🏼💞 Wiktor Warski as a man, is an absolute scumbag and adulterer who broke the heart of his former spouse, and had the film not done a tremendous job in humanizing him, yours truly would have seen him as nothing more than a selfish, indecent pig. The man behind the character, however, was absolutely fantastic!
