I feel empty. Unmotivated. Just... void of anything. I have nothing to add. Not nothing, just nothing special. My spark is gone. It doesn't shine as bright. It stopped shinning. I stopped resisting. I am letting days move by. I am letting life pass me by.
It's not even loneliness. I no longer care about being lonely or not. I stopped caring altogether - about being good or bad at what I do, at actually accomplishing anything. Whats the point? I feel like giving the absolute bare minimum to get by. Its not like anyone else is noticing...

What are your favorite and least favorite campaigns from Left 4 Dead? Both 1 and 2.
This is pretty hard. I love most of these campaigns, so picking which ones are my favorites is a challenge.
Left 4 Dead
Favorite: Dead Air. It was tough to pick between this or Blood Harvest. Blood Harvest is good because it’s the furthest away from the city you get, but Dead Air is probably the quintessential city campaign for Left 4 Dead 1. I love running across the rooftops early on, and the airport is probably the hardest that Left 4 Dead ever sells this being a zombie apocalypse, because that place is a MESS. It also has the GORGEOUS plane crash scene during the finale, which was one of the most impressive things I’d ever seen in a video game at the time.
Least Favorite: Crash Course sucks. It doesn’t feel like it does enough to stand out from the other city campaigns, its “better for fast versus games” structure is kind of dumb, and in general it just doesn’t feel like it really belongs. It’s super forgettable. I’m struggling to even talk about it at length.
Left 4 Dead 2
Favorite: This was the hardest pick, because every campaign in Left 4 Dead 2 has something REALLY cool in it. But I’m going to have to go with Hard Rain. The sugar mill full of Witches, the field, the storm, and having to go back through everything both in the dark and during an intense thunderstorm is all amazing. Also, in versus, charging people off the top floor of the sugar mill is probably one of the most cathartic things this game offers.
Least Favorite: There’s no contest here: COLD STREAM. Cold Stream was Valve’s effort to turn Campaign DLC over to the fans and that initiative started and ended with Cold Stream. It’s a janky, weird campaign, the kind of amateur hour stuff you’d find on Gamebanana. Its difficulty balancing is all over the place, too. I seem to remember there being a LOT of insta-kill stuff, and all of the infected are tuned to be way more aggressive. I think Valve came in at the end and tried polishing it up, but it’s still a significant step down from their official, in-house campaigns.
