╠☆! He didn’t care that he was the ‘younger’ brother, not with Marines after them. Franky wanted Iceburg safe and he’d do just about anything. Iceburg had a grip on his hand, tugging him through the back alleys they knew by heart. “Bakaburg! Stop” Franky didn’t want to run, he wanted to fight.
He had to force the other to stop, letting go of his hand. Franky stayed in the alley, causing Iceburg to turn around and his expression was confused.
"Franky, come on, we can make it."
"Idiot, they won’t stop chasing us. We both won’t make and you know that damnit."
"Shut up, bakany." The elder rarely seemed distressed but he had every reason to be right now. They didn’t have time to argue, Iceburg reached for the bluenette again.
————————Well you have suffered e n o u g h
Franky shook his head, that purple haired idiot didn’t get it. That was making this harder for the smaller shipwright. Too late, some Marines caught up to them. The pair of shipwrights fought them off, took an hour but they managed to buy some more time. Blocking the alley entrance, Franky glared at the other.
"Damnit, Bakaburg, you could have been half way home by now!" The bluenette was trying to save this idiot, who wouldn’t just leave him behind. Franky wanted to do something to keep Iceburg safe, something that normally didn’t cross his mind. They were being hunted because word got out about some plans Tom had, Franky wasn’t listening when Iceburg mentioned it.
Iceburg grabbed the small brat’s wrist, but Franky shoved him. “Let me do something for you for once!” His voice cracked with frustrations.
—————————Falling slowly, eyes that k n o w me
——————————————————————-And I can’t go back
Franky’s eyes were serious, something that wasn’t often for the younger male. Iceburg knew he wouldn’t make it far with his leg injured, they didn’t even get the rail nail that one of the Marine’s jammed into it out yet. “You won’t make it with that leg, idiot! Come home with me!”
Muffled shouts behind the boxes they stacked, Franky moved without thinking. Grabbing the purple haired teen’s tank and yanking him down on his level. “Stupid, go home. Hide those plans, hide until they think you aren’t even on Water 7.”
A bleeding set of lips crashed into those damned purple ones, some where along the time they known each other, Franky fell. He fell for Iceburg, and didn’t know fully what it meant until he talked to Kokoro. Of course he didn’t tell her who, but knowing her, she knew and just didn’t say a word.
Breaking away, Franky shoved him out the back of the alley. “Go, Iceburg.” That moment was likely to shatter the elder’s heart, since Franky never used his actual name. He ran, as much as he didn’t want to leave him, Iceburg ran.
Hours passed, and Franky knew he wasn’t gonna make it home. Blood loss from several open wounds, and one of those bastards broke the leg with the nail in it. Limping, he slumped onto a wall not ten feet from where they finally left him to die.
Roughly, he crashed face first onto the pavement and slowly rolled onto his back. Everything hurt, and his vision blurred yet he knew that Iceburg would come find him. He wouldn’t respond, Franky could tell he was dying, and he was scared but should he be? He saved the one that was important to him, that’s what someone does right?
Tears mixed with blood as he stared at the clouds, a faint smile on his face as he slowly took his last few breaths.
