I saw a tweet that goes something like “when you love and care about someone so much, you pick up their habits and mannerisms. That’s why it’s so sad when they leave because they eventually become a part of yourself,” somewhere between the lines. 

   I agree, tremendously. A lot of my ex-boyfriend’s habits and mannerisms manifested in me. I picked up his motivation and his constant need to succeed in everything he does from him. I think there’s a lot in me now that I’ve picked from him that I haven’t indeed noticed. I guess that’s why when he left, it affected me profoundly. It was sad to lose not only a lover but a good friend, a best friend, my best friend. I learnt so much from him about life, love, people, relationship, partnership and everything that revolves around the world, even about religion and the spiritual world. If I have to be honest, he had always been the matured one among us, thinking logically about a situation. Unlike myself whose head is in the clouds. Some might find it agitating that he was always so serious and didn’t make time for daydreams. I liked it. I loved that he was real and honest about things. That mindset, the being logical over things and putting your mind over your emotions, brushed to me.
