#cola candy

Opening the bag revealed a rather foul, almost mayo mixed with glue smell.  Uh, okays then. Pretty unexpected, and a bit of a turn off.  The candy comes individually wrapped in a silver/red combo wrapper. There was a generous amount in the bag, so I guess that's a plus. 

The candy itself is a small light brown ball. The exterior is hard, and most likely what gives the cola flavor, and if you peer at it closely, you can see a white center-this gives the fizzy carbonation.  I did what any normal person would do- shove my face to it and sniff it! Smells like root beer. Neutral reaction to that.

I was actually surprised by how good it tasted.  Tasted like cola with a tint of lemons. When you crack it apart, a rush of sugar splashes around in your mouth as it fizzles- whoa! A bit too sweet. Note, try not to keep your tongue in the way; My sister and I learned that the hard way.  Ouch.

I admit, I spent a few hours just rolling the candy around in my mouth, then taking it out in order to observe the fizzling happen.  The moment your tongue runs along the side of the candy, two tiny holes open up and a reaction occurs with the fizzy filling and the hard candy. Overall a good experience. Good to have on hand when I'm craving some sugar.
