things you said when you were scared + Coinless Bulk x Kim
Of course, Bulk didn't know the Pink ranger who was cuddled up in the corner, crying, was Kimberly Hart, it was impossible to see through those black visors... But with the way they had just watched their school burn, the way everyone had watched Drakkon emerge from the Command Centre building with Jason's helmet in hand, and then proceeded on an unimaginable murder spree, taking the Blue ranger, and a lot of other ranger allies in one sweep, and claiming the title of 'Lord Drakkon' along with his supremacy over the entire world, as the last line of resistance gave way, and those who remained, ran for their lives, probably with a hope to come back later, when they were better prepared to attack and win... it was just too hard to ignore a ragged, broken Power Ranger huddled up in a corner, sobbing.
"H—Hey..." Bulk had just put Skull to rest, and wondered if he should try and talk to the Pink Ranger too. The Black and Yellow rangers were nowhere to be seen, other teens from the school, who had been caught in the crossfire, either trying to shelter themselves, or comfort others.
He was scared, yes, but he could see she was even more scared. She was muttering some things to herself, barely audible, unless you placed your head next to her, "he's gonna come back... rangers don't die... do they? They will come back, right? It'll be okay... it's not... not the end of the world..." suddenly, she was conscious of his presence next to her, and she turned around, scared.
At that moment, Bulk could see her eyes through the visor... and they seemed, somehow familiar... somewhere, somehow, some lost closeness... as if it had always been there...
He knew he didn't have much to offer— what could a highschool punk offer to one of the greatest heroes of the city, anyway— but he knew that emotional support worked like magic. And if the Pink ranger was to go on fighting, and build up a resistance, with the other rangers, they were going to need more than three people. And it all started with support... one hand... he extended his own, callous and worn out as it was, for her to take. She stared at it, as if she didn't understand what he meant, but then he said, quietly, "we're all here, with you... power coins, or coinless, we're gonna fight Drakkon... we're all here" he reassured, and watched a, albeit small, glimmer of hope ignite in her tear filled eyes.
They were all here...
