What do you do on a Sunday after indulging in too many Blue Moons the night before...? Indulge some more on some well crafted caffeine of course.
On my very first adventure of Coffee Shop Hop Louisville I went to Sunergos Coffee, located at 2122 South Preston Street. If you can't tell by the picture of the black & white that I ordered, the coffee was to die for! The set up of the shop was as hipster as I want to be, with different type wooden tables, mismatched chairs, a retro looking couch, and event posters lining the walls. I stayed for three hours and accomplished most of the assignments I had set out. Although, I did have to take study breaks and sing a long when the Black Keys were playing. Oh, and did I mention in the logo there is an elephant!!!! Look at the picture of the coffee I bought and see for yourself. It's destiny that I should call this place home!
The service was awesome, not sure I've ever been to a location where the staff were so laid back, friendly, and easy to talk to. I walked away with a 16 oz bag of their Brazil Cerrado, and an acrylic coffee mug.
Although I know the original plan was to do a different coffee shop every Sunday, I can already feel the hardship of falling in love with a certain spot. You know how in "How I Met Your Mother" they have the bar that they hang out at EVERYDAY. I want Sunergos to be that spot for me.
I didn't want to leave & I already want to go back.
Overall Rating: 365/10 ... Get it? 365 because I want to go there everyday!!!
