Fashion Sense: Elegant and frequently formal, having an image to maintain. Turtlenecks or ruffled blouses with vests, pants or skirts with hosiety, peacoats, scarves, and heeled boots. Despite this, she claims to have no fashion sense of her own, relying heavily on Yukari or her maid to help her select her clothing.

Personality: Mature, responsible, cool-headed, and confident; often seen as strict and stern by her juniors, and at times overly formal. Can come across as arrogant or cold-hearted when pursuing her goals, or naive and awkward when exposed to things she has no experience with. Intolerant of prejudice and outspoken about it. Has difficulty trusting and opening up to others, but once she does, she is unfailingly loyal to them.

Habits: Occasionally sprinkles her speech with French words and phrases.

Talents: Extremely strong academically, and a natural leader; she’s smart enough to know when to delegate or assign something to someone more skilled. Fluent in Japanese, English, and French. Skilled in fencing.

Backstory:

Anything canonical can be found here. Mitsuru’s default verse assumes Post-Arena, where by day she manages the operations of the Kirijo Group as president and CEO, and by night she heads up the Shadow Operatives. She continues to work to undo the mistakes her grandfather and father made, a job made more difficult by her own reluctance to allow others to shoulder the burden.

Relationships:

She remains as president and CEO of the Kirijo Group, and as founder and chief operations leader of the Shadow Operatives, which includes ex-members of S.E.E.S. and a number of other Persona-users or potentials, including non-combat operatives who assist with detection and logistics.

Her grandfather, Kouetsu Kirijo, and father, Takeharu Kirijo, are both deceased; her mother died during the events of Kouetsu’s experiments in 1999. Her only close relations are Kikuno Saikawa, her head maid, who has been with her since childhood, and the former members of S.E.E.S.

Mitsuru maintains a working relationship with the National Police Agency via several unknown government contacts; her primary contact with the agency is Senior Inspector Kurosawa. She also maintains cordial relationships with the Nanjo Group, from which the Kirijo Group previously split decades ago. Rumour has it the two groups are collaborating on something, but what, no one can say.

RP Wishlist:

Friendship threads with any of S.E.E.S., or romantic threads with female members of the same (she considers Akihiko a friend but could not imagine dating him, and everyone else is unlikely for various obvious reasons, unless the plot is set back prior to the end of P3).

Interactions of any sort with the Investigation Team or the Phantom Thieves.

Dark AUs: What if the Fall happened? Would Mitsuru head up a group of survivors? What if, in order to prevent more craziness like what happened in P4A/U/DAN, she took the SOs down the Knight Templar route?
