1. First console you’ve ever owned?The mini playstation.
5. Game with the best soundtrack? That’s a super hard question because there are SO MANY good game soundtracks. Like, how do you quantify best?? My favorites are .hack//GU OST, Okami OST, Nier OST, Persona 4 OST, Kingdom Hearts series OST, Legend of Mana OST, Chrono Cross OST. Like, I’m sure I’ve forgotten some I really like, but those are the ones that stand out the most to me.
6. An underrated game from within the last few years?Another tough one because how do you quantify underrated. I suppose if you mean looked over, I have a bad habit of playing popular games or not even knowing if a game is not on anyone's radar. But if you mean, the game is good, but it has some technical issues that it’s the reason many people shit on it - Call of Cthulu. Great game.
7. Most disappointing game you’ve played? Two Worlds. It was just shit. And Godai. But for Godai, I was lured in by the box and it wasn’t what I thought it was. It could very well have been a good game, but it wasn’t what I was looking for.
8. The game with the best atmosphere/scenery?I’m very easy to please, so basically as long as the game isn’t jarringly bad, I’m good with it. Some favorites are Okami, Dragon Age Inquisition, .hack//GU, Final Fantasy X.
12. Most bizarre game you’ve ever played? Darkened Skies. I didn’t even finish it. Stopped after about 10 minutes after I realised what was going on. Let me tell you, if you don’t know what this game is, GO WATCH A LETS PLAY. Please. It’s . . . It’s something.
13. Scariest game you’ve played?Every scary game every. Not even joking. As much as I love horror games, I’m shit at them because there’s something about playing a horror game that makes it ten times worse than watching a horror movie. But Fatal Frame fucks me up pretty badly.
19. Hardest game you’ve ever played?Lost Odyssey and the Last Remnant. Got super stuck in Lost Odyssey and just fucked myself. As for Last Remnant, one of the only games I ever rage quit. I was going for full completion, but because the damn game scales with you, the war skirmishes are just ridiculous.
21. If you had to play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be?In my heart of hearts I want to say Mass Effect 2. I really do. But being honest, it’s fucking Okami. I love Okami so much. Everything about Okami is the best and it deserves the world and I’m so glad I own it on almost every platform it’s available on.
23. Favorite genre of video game?RPG, no question.
24. Ever cried because of a video game? Which one(s)?All the goddamn time. Mass Effect 3 made me fucking bawl. Kingdom Hearts 3 made me weepy as fuck. Brothers a Tale of Two Sons. If you don’t cry at the end of that game, then you are a stronger person than me because that ending is just PAINFUL.
29. Watch cutscenes or skip them?Watch them of course. Who are these assholes that skip them . . . and WHY???
31. Game with the best theme song?The Tales games have great theme songs. Persona 5′s opening theme is AMAZING.
32. Do you cosplay?Nope. I’ve always wanted to try, but I’m not at a place where I feel comfortable doing it unfortunately.

DxSeriously though, there are tons of games and from each of them I have a favorite of something. Ask me about a game and I can narrow it down, but to crown one of them king of all of them . . . that’s . . . just not possible.
37. Ever been made fun of for playing video games?Never actually. I’ve been surprisingly lucky in that sense. But I also don’t talk about my interests to other people, much less talk to other people in general so it’s never been that big of a issue.
38. Have you tried a game, hated it, then tried again, and loved it?I think so, but nothing is popping up at me exactly so I can’t say with any certainty.
42. A game you will never forget (in a bad OR good way)?Do you mean like a positive or negative gaming memory? I have great memories of my step dad playing Mario on the SNES and beating the game for me and my sister. We’d sit and watch him and it was something we both loved. My step dad was never huge into games, but he would play for us and that was really special to me.
43. Favorite sidekick or companion?See questions 33 to 36. What game my dude.
47. First person or Third person?I’m actually fine with either.
48. A game you’ve always wanted to play but have never gotten to it?World of Warcraft. The main thing keeping me from it is the paywall where I have to pay for the game and then pay a subscription to keep playing it. I hate that shit. And other MMOs. Because I usually burn out on MMOs pretty quick, so it’s never been a viable option to buy one, even the subscriptionless ones. I’d never get my money's worth from it.
49. A game you haven’t played in forever, but want to replay?Legend of Mana or Chrono Cross. It’s been a long time and I miss them both very much.
50. How many games to do you own?Physically, between 300 - 500. Digitally, games are much cheaper to acquire and with bundles and sales, over 1,500. Yeah, I collect games I’ll probably never play.
51. First character you’ve had a crush on?Elazul and Escad from Legend of Mana. I was 12 and hot for those pixels man. And it’s only gotten worse from there.
52. A game you will always stand behind, and support no matter what?Legend of Mana or Okami. I will fight anyone who slanders them.
54. A sequel you really want?A sequel to Until Dawn. They gotta get Josh man. He’s still down there.
57. What is an overrated game you’ve played?Probably lots. Like, everyone has a different opinion on the subject. But I looked at two lists and they both said Bioshock Infinite and FF7 and I’ve played them both.
59. A game you are looking forward to this year? Catherine Full Body, Persona PQ2, Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Animal Crossing Switch, Pokemon Switch.
60. The game you are best at?No such thing my dude. Though I suppose the closest thing to this would be Okami.
61. A game you know everything about?Like what does this mean exactly? A game where I have encyclopedia knowledge about all the events that happen in the universe? Don’t really have one of those. I love a lot of games and I play a lot of games, so I don’t really take the time to memorize the extra stuff. If you mean know all the secrets in the game? Probably Okami.
67. Most violent game you’ve played?A fighting game probably. I don’t really play violent games for violence sake. I like story driven stuff - if there’s violence, then there’s violence in it.
72. Have any guilty pleasure games?Definitely. Time management games. Match 3 games. Hidden object games. Those casual ‘girly’ games that a lot of people look down upon. They’re good for relaxing and if you’re listening to youtube and need something to do at the same time.
73. A game with the best fandom?No such thing. All fandoms have their toxic side. The best experiences are the ones you curate yourself. It all depends on who you follow and how you chose to interact man.
74. Which game has the best lore?Bioware games usually. Fallout games too. But lots of that is thanks to fans who fill in the blanks with great headcanons and meta and shit.
75. Do you focus on main storyline/quest or do sidequests first?Side quests 100%. Ever heard of timed side quests? I hate that shit. Makes me paranoid that side quests are going to disappear after a certain amount of time or a certain main quest is activated. So do every side quest I can, then proceed.
