Rosemarie had been living in Alaska for coming up on five years now, running Wormwood Books for three. It wasn’t busy, or something that brought in a lot of money, but being the only “niche” bookshop in a town suddenly full of supernaturals did keep it interesting. She even had people asking for her tea, specifically, by blend! Thankfully, she hadn’t sold out of her favorite, a mix of dried berries, apple, pineapple and rosehip, and it was near closing time. The door was still open, of course, but she didn’t expect any more customers, so the lights were dimmed, and she was turned away from the door, brewing a cup of tea to get her through closing.
