This is a not-quite-filler chapter, but the boys are off on a well-deserved vacation after the events of the SmackDown after SummerSlam. They've earned this chapter of sex and sweetness, even if I found it very difficult to write as an angst addict 😂

Now I just need to decide if I should do another chapter of Screwed or push on with Good Things next. I do take suggestions and preferences on board, enthusiasm feeds me 👀

cody on both fronts IMHO. not to say that john isn't capable of falling hard bc he definitely is, but cody has so much hero worship for john that managed to deepen into a true friendship once they got closer and started getting to know one another and eventually blossomed into a true love that it's more pronounced as far as he's concerned

definitely cody lol, he gives off an air of not wanting to be babied and having machismo but he actually LOVES being pampered even if he's reticent to admit it. john on the other hand doesn't value stereotypical manliness and doesn't have a fragile masculinity so he doesn't give a shit

godddd it's equally divided between the both of them because boy do those two LOVE separately posting stupid shit on instagram/tiktok. i'd say it slightly teeters in john's direction tho

john def almost burns down the house LMFAOOOO oh lawd. cody's like.....you know what, my mom was cuban and i grew up in ATL making cornbread and collard greens, leave the cooking up to me please

the heel turn. definitely. that or john not wanting kids meanwhile cody wants a gaggle of them. they're both stubborn mfs so i imagine they called one another selfish and self-absorbed and inconsiderate of where the other person's coming from and they had a row so explosive they ended up not talking to each other for over a week until john (bc he's the one that would be the bigger person in this situation) apologizes. so yeah it can get pretty nasty, but not nearly as nasty as a punk/randy and cody or cena fight would be

cody walked in on john prancing around in the living room in his underwear and holding a hairbrush up to his lips like it's a microphone and singing along to cheesy bubblegum pop (shoutout peacemaker episode 1) LMAOOOO

🍷 Who gets tipsy first & starts spilling embarrassing love confessions?

godddd both of them would do this but i lean slightly towards cody. john doesn't start blubbering embarrassingly until he's had like 3 full drinks

🧡 What color reminds each of them of the other?

red, white, & blue remind john of cody because of the american nightmare, green reminds cody of john because of the green supercena era + four leaf clovers bc of boston's irish culture
