The curse (which is common knowledge by now) that does this makes this an inevitability, and it terrifies him to think that the holder of Power will recognize him or, worse still, have power over him. Kage is disturbed at how many of his fellow knights are so easily tempted to stray from their knightly duties and be so immoral towards the citizens they swear to protect. (though he has no room to judge. He may not remember it, but his nightmare form does PLENTY of immoral things with Darkie, killing and having SEX on the corpses included ) Luetia... This poor baby is frightened of so many things, but he’s more disgusted with how weak he is compared to his family. Though he’s making progress, he’s still miles behind.
