CODE 10-33 is a crime podcast in association with @multiversalpodcastingnetwork which plays with, pokes fun at and completely turns the buddy cop dynamic on its head.
Lieutenant Clancy Nicholson is homicide detective who was once and still is considered one of the best in his field. That is, when heās not drinking, complaining, and generally hating life. When faced with young new recruit Scott Marshall, Clancy is none too pleased, particularly when heās told that the youngster will be his new partner, just as the department is faced with a particularly difficult case: A man, murdered in his own apartment, was discovered to have been being blackmailed for ten years prior to his death.
On the other side of town, a week later, another almost identical murder has taken place. And another. And another.
Meanwhile, a man has reported the blackmail that has been going on against him for almost ten years. Upon investigation, the person blackmailing this man has been dead for 5 years.
The clock is ticking. There are more questions than answers. The life of this man, and many more, are on the line, and there isnāt much time.
We are looking for two composers for our new crime podcast CODE 10-33.Ā We are looking for:
A composer to compose the majority of the soundtrack for the show. Weāre looking for an intense, electronic soundtrack, with an ability to create tension and suspense. Examples of similar soundtracks to our vision include Connorās soundtrack from Detroit Become Human by Nima Fakhrara, or the Hitman soundtrack byĀ Niels Bye Nielson.
A composer to compose a song for our femme fetale, Liliana Adams, to sing in the show. Weāre looking for a sultry, female vocal solo, with a Ella Fitzgerld/Jessica Rabbit vibe. Examples of similar songs include A Change of Scene from The Case of the Guilded Lily, Turn Back O Man from Godspell, or Why Donāt You Do It Right? from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.Ā
All we require for your submission is 2 or 3 samples of your previous work, preferably in the styles weāre after, but weāll accept any genre of music for your audition samples.
This is unpaid work, and a long-term project. If all goes well, we will be setting up a patreon, and we will use that money to pay for your work, as we 100% believe you should be paid, but for now this is completely unpaid volunteer work.
