#3 tell me everything about ego-centric rocker V 👀
this one is yet ANOTHER song inspired fic, this time the absolute bop of a girlie pop song, “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings” by Caroline Polachek. I’m only a couple paragraphs in but here’s a teensy synopsis:
it kinda just follows the formula of the song. V and Reader were prob in a situationship /FWB dynamic before he left for the Skeletour, and Reader is a little emo at the lack of communication while he’s away. he’s only ever really texting her when he’s horny and loves to boast about the unhinged things people shout to him/offer to him at performances.
“Not like I’m counting the days, but it’s been twenty-five, you’re out there killing the game but damn I miss you tonight.”
“Before the X rated dreaming back on the coast to coast life, you know I live for the hustle but damn I miss you tonight.”
She’s gonna show up to one of the ritual afterparties and get messy drunk “out at a party, they’re playing our song, i cry on the dance floor and it’s so embarrassing”
