Honest Coco confession
When watching the movie I assumed Hector would turn out to be the guy who accidentally killed De la Cruz (in my defense, his face was visible for like a second, and human memory is fallible). I was also convinced that Ernesto was indeed Miguel’s great-great grandpa until the very last moment.
Upper Power, good thing I managed to avoid most of the spoilers. I did see a glimpse of “That’s for murdering the love of my life” gif, but thankfully the quality was low and I looked aside fast enough, so I was still able to believe in “Hector is the killer” assumption.
