Coco Bryce, MYOR’un alt etiketi Rythmi Tou Kosmou’dan yayınladığı Noches Sephardies ("Sefarad Akşamları") ile jungle müziğini alıp tam anlamıyla bir "art-jungle" enstalasyonuna dönüştürüyor. Azerbaycan halk müziğinden Endonezya gamelanına, Kenya taarabından antik Sefarad ilahilerine uzanan şaşırtıcı derecede geniş bir etki paleti sunan albüm; dinleyiciyi Batı dışı dokularla sarmalayan, yüksek hızlı breakbeat müziği için ezber bozan bir deneyim.
Alışılagelmiş jungle kalıplarını yıkan "I Know This Place" ve "Jueho De Siempre" gibi parçalarda bildiğimiz Coco Bryce sound'undan oldukça farklı, daha organik bir ritim yapısı hakim. Albümün en "gevşek vidalı" anı olan "Desert Moon Continuum" ise sönümlenmemiş breakleri ve ritmik tökezlemeleriyle, nerede durup nerede başlayacağını sezgisel bir dille anlatan, tekinsiz bir yapboz gibi.

"I Love Acid / The Groove is in The Art" is a sizzling slab of 7 inch tuna with the A side "I Love Acid" sounding like a funky TB-303 getting loose yet structured on a windy Chicago evening in 1986 while the B side "The Groove is in The Art" sounds like a cut and paste tape collage of esoteric synth madness and chill boogie funk.
The 7 inch vinyl will be available via the usual suspects in Europe as well as directly from Gebbz Steelo Boutique and select record shops in Canada.
