Oscar is tiredĀ with decisions being made for him. He never asked for any of this, never wanted to get possessed by an immortal, important person - to trade a hoe for a staff, rigid but safe schedule from dawn to rise to not knowing how many will make it to next dawn. Heās gotten more and more used to the charted path before him, trying to grasp it for his own before who āheā is gets far too muddled for his friends to know who he is anymore.Ā
Yet heās gotten to the point he cannot fight back. He cannot deny the inevitability of oneās circumstances.Ā
That includes this! Wherever Radiale is, he can tellĀ this isnāt Remnant. He doesnāt recognize anything here, even withĀ subconscious access to Ozās memories. Then again...only some of them. Or...does he? Back in Atlas he certainly did but right now seems...hazy. He canāt help but wonder what that could mean. Unease rises within him quicklyĀ and he reaches for the staff that calms-
Ah. Right. Itās...wooden now. Itās not the staff heād grown used to. What else is missing, his breathing speeds for a moment before he remembers. Deep breaths, look around, try to analyze. He needs to look in control, with Ozās role hanging over his head. Patience. The place he was ushered to upon arrival looks like a place to stay. Is it his? Is there someone to... double check with? Having a stable roof over his head is nice, and leads him to wonder if anyone from RWBY or JNR are here. They mustĀ be, he just has to find them again. If he can be pulled from Atlas - so can they.Ā
Through looking around, he lacked the attention span to look forward, lost in his thoughts. He manages to run into someone. He backs up immediately though, trying to regain his balance quickly. āIām sorry!ā He ushers out, and then uses one of his hands to scratch behind his head. āIām Oscar Pines, and you areā¦?ā It comes out a bit awkward as he tries to recover from his slip up. āHow long have you uh, been here?āĀ
