Keilan flushed but he didnât look away. Even though he tried to, he couldnât stop staring at Gusâ massively fat member. What would it be like toâŚ? He shoved the thought out of his head. There was no way heâd ever do that to himself! No way!
They were weaving out of the pub and onto the sidewalk when Gus looked up, his ugly pug face brightening. âLook, mate! A barber shop! Letâs get yous a trim. It donât close for ânother half hour!â
Keilan followed his gaze and, noting the seediness of the establishment, tried to decline but Gus wouldnât take no for an answer and tugged him by the arm into the shop. âOi, Geezah!â he shouted at the barber. âTake care of me mate here. Make âim look like a regular bloke. âEâs too uptight!âÂ
A half hour later, Keilan stared at himself in the mirror, mouth hanging open.
âWhyâd you take off so much?â he demanded. âI look uglier than shit!â
The barber merely shrugged and turned to look over at Gus who was grinning proudly from the chair next to him. âHe told me to cut it short,â the man said. âSo I did.â
Keilan couldnât believe that his long, thick, black hair was lying on the floor at his feet and all that remained was a rough oval of black stubble on the top of his scalp. The sides of his head were shaved down to the skin, so close that his skin shone brilliant white in the light of the shop. The dude had even cut a wedge out of his eyebrow. Keilan stared and stared, not recognizing the punk in the chair glaring petulantly back at him. Were his ears really that big? They stuck out from the sides of his head even more than Gusâs! Somehow, losing all his hair made him seem shifty, like he was an ex-con or something. It wasnât attractive in the slightest.
âLooks good on yous, mate!â Gus praised. His own hair was cut in exactly the same style, although he was so bald that he barely had any stubble left on top. The haircut didnât look any better on him. âNow we juss need to get ya a couple oâ tats and a piercing!â
âNever!â Keilan spat, springing up from the barber chair and throwing off the cape. Remnants of his thick, black locks went flying in all directions. âIâm going home! I canât believe you did this to me! I look like a fuckinâ thug!â
