Hi!

The CMBYN Microfic Challenge has been going for just over eight months now, and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a lot of interest for the challenge anymore. So I have decided to end this challenge, but still continue the CMBYN Drabble Challenge.

The CMBYN Drabble Challenge has no minimum wordcount, meaning you can still write microfics for it. The Microfic challenge happened every two weeks, the Drabble challenge every month. So now that the Microfic challenge ends, we’ll go from having three prompts per month to just one prompt per month. Meaning you will have more time to write something if you want to participate.

The Microfic prompts will remain up on the page, and you can still write something for them and add your work to the AO3 Collection.

I am late with this prompt but felt like writing for the CMBYN microfic challenge prompt Trust.

(I’m not gonna put it on AO3 because it is so teeny tiny.)

Thank you very much for the invitation to your wedding.  Annella and I would love to join you for the celebration but regrettably we have already arranged to host an intern once again this summer, and I don’t feel it would be right to leave them so early during their stay with us.  I’m sure you understand.  

Elio sends his regards but has made arrangements to travel with a friend during the summer and will be unable to attend.  Oh, the freedom of youth!

As requested, we now have our own CMBYN Microfic Challenge, inspired by @drarrymicrofic​. Thank you to the lovely Bea for giving us permission to run a challenge inspired by her Drarry Microfic challenge! 😘

Here are some rules & guidelines for our CMBYN Microfic Challenge.

- The wordcount for your microfic has to be exactly 50 or 100 words.

- This challenge has now come to an end and I will no longer be posting new prompts for it. The 27 prompts that were posted for the challenge will remain up on the page, and you can still write for them if you like.

- Here is the AO3 Challenge Collection.

- If you post your microfic (not the link, but the actual microfic) to Tumblr, you can tag the @cmbynwritingfests​ page for a reblog. Please keep in mind that Tumblr’s notification system isn’t the best, so if it looks like I’m ignoring your microfic, I probably haven’t been notified about it. If that happens, feel free to send me a link to your microfic. Posts that are only links to microfics will not be reblogged.

- This is a CMBYN challenge, and all pairings or Gen stories are allowed, as long as they include characters from the book / movie, or the real-life actors / writer / director etc.

- Any rating or theme is allowed for the challenge. But please make sure to put up the correct tags, and to add a warning if your story contains things like MCD, Violence, Non-Con etc.
