Based on the canon premise that Rita and Tissaia author academic works together. Follows their relationship over the years with each chapter related to a poison in the compendium they write. NB: NOT teacher/student. Timeframe is from just after Falka's Rebellion to several years after the Thanedd Coup.

Yennefer, inspired by several scenes in the Austen AU by @clydethistles, which I had the pleasure of rereading last night.

The first piece in a collection of art I've been doing for the original story Hymn of Sand and Stars by @wordherders-hat, also known as @clydethistles. Those of you who have been following me for the last few years will remember that I've done art for her Selkie fic, and many other wonderful F/F stories. The first two chapters of the story (and accompanying art) are available for free on Patreon and HIGHLY recommended.

Hymn of Sand and Stars follows Ruan, a fiery-haired Liathilean spear maid, daughter of chieftains but exiled from the island she calls home. She will meet the Veiled Lady, a mysterious figure who lives in a gilded prison and wears the veil of a moon-priestess, guarded at all times by a retinue of warrior women. Ruan joins their ranks but soon discovers she has sworn to protect far more than she might have imagined.

A moment from ‘The Sea That Calls All Things Unto Her Calls Me’, a canon-compliant-up-to-Thanedd fic by @clydethistles that is Tissaia/Yennefer slow-burn. Also known as the selkie!AU. A favourite of mine - and probably has inspired the most art from me out of all the fan fic stories.

This is becoming tradition. And it’s nice looking back at what I’ve done and how I’ve improved.

A paired portrait of Tissaia, which I prefer to the Yennefer one simply because Tissaia has the best nightgown in the known universe. @clydethistles launched these into an amazing shortish post-Sodden fic which is worth the read. 

This piece from a fic (’the hour of hush and wonder’) by @thegirl20: it was the fourth of a series of comic pages that I did. Fireflies and unicorns are a weakness of mine. Out of all the art this year, I think this piece got the most time spent on it. 

@troiings​ gets two mentions of her fic here: this scene from her Stone chaptered fic - a moment in the gardens outside Ellander. You’ll need an AO3 account to read since her work is private. Go make an account and read it. 

And this moment from her Florist modern AU fic. Ongoing! The colours and ‘where do plants go’ were tricky, and Tissaia’s position changed a bunch of times.
