Kirby news reminded me that I never posted these, at least not outside the dumb little sprite comic I made them for.
I never did post this to Tumblr, either.
A tribute picture for Kirby vs. the Squeaks, a sprite comic from nearly 15 years ago that started on the long-dead NSider forums and was last hosted on the now-dead SmackJeeves site.
Why do I still have fondness for super old sprite comics? No idea. Maybe I’m just bad at letting go. Maybe I’m curious where its cancelled sequel series would have gone. Maybe I’m hoping that the original author is out there somewhere, to at least help preserve it. (I mean, I did managed to save a bunch of the pages before SJ went down, but not all of them were still available.)
