â âKnowing that your daughter has gone missing, if you could go back in time and say one last thing to her, what would it be? â What opinion do you have of your daughter? Do you regret moving out to the city?
hearing the word MISSING struck pain into his heart, yet that pain was masked with ANGER and FEAR. fear that his daughter was still out there, SUFFERING and LOST in the world. ANGER that she was gone. gone from their lives by a single choice SHE made HERSELF. as a father, he only wanted what was best for taeyeon. he KNEW all this writing business wasnât going to work out. doesnât she know how POOR they were? how writing would only LEAD to even more POVERTY? what success would she have with a mere HOBBY as a job? anger was only in his heart, yet the mourning never stopped. he HATED the fact she moved out, did things on her own. he loathed the way she wanted to go BACK to the HELL they once lived in, how she was actually HAPPY in that hell, with his inlaw that they havenât seen in 16 years. there were many things he wanted to say to his daughter at this point. he wanted to hold her, HUG her. tell her not to go right now. he wanted to SCOLD her .. this wouldnât of happened if she just went to a famous school, got an actual job - seeing how school would knock some sense into her, give her a purpose. but NO. she wanted to live on her own, working by herself - taking classes in writing and not ACTUAL school like medical or law. he wanted to ask WHY SHE WANTED TO GIVE HERSELF PAIN? WHY DOES SHE WANT TO BE UNHAPPY? the sad part was, he didnât know his daughter well enough to convince her to stay. â iâd tell her to stay. â
hearing the word missing to her mother, however, became much more striking in a sense of sadness and tears. her precious little girl, whom she cleaned everyday as a child. whom she fed, whom she cared for had been swiped out of her own arms by the unfortunate years of life. ever since they moved to the city, the happier SHE was .. but she had not known of taeyeonâs struggles. she was so focused on being happy herself, she forgot to care for the one that made her the happiest. all the jewels she bought with their newly founded money at the time, all the clothes, all the time she hadnât spent with taeyeon was useless in happiness. it hurt her so. to her, there was only one thing she wanted to tell taeyeon. that was to be happy. if she was happy at her grandmotherâs house; her own mother more than herself, then so be it. but she regrets, oh HOW SHE REGRETS. â just ⌠be happy, baby. â
NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE LOVED TAEYEON, he will NEVER regret moving to the city. here is THEIR HOME, this is where THEY PROSPERED. they gained money here, unlike that FILTHY VILLAGE where only POORNESS THRIVED. taeyeon .. was an older woman at the time. she could make her own decisions, but he knew deep down that the idea of letting her go was A FOOLâS DECISION. â i love my daughter .. i will forever love her. â IF ONLY HE HAD CONTROL OVER HER. â but .. moving to the city was the best decision of my life. â
