that there is no wrong way to portray a character bc it's 'up to interpretation' No. There are lots of ways to write your character wrong and presenting with an astounding lack of understanding for motivations and psychological state of your muse is absolutely the first step in being completely wrong in your portrayal. If you lack a fundamental understanding of who they are then you're not going to write them correctly. That is how people end up reducing their muses to one or two traits and completely ruin their integrity as complex characters. There is a wrong way to write your muse, point blank period.

Adjusting your characters power level between universes and in crossovers. I see this one a lot too. Fun fact, Naruto and Sasuke are low key gods in their universes, but did you know that Bubbles the chimp from DBZ could body them without blinking? Which sucks for me learning that bc Naruto is my boy!! But unfortunately it's true. If you put Naruto in the DBZ universe he would be incredibly weak at his PEAK. Sometimes your character being able to take out everyone in their universe doesn't translate to some other universe and I think a lot of ppl struggle to conceptualize the differences.... but god in one verse could be a chump in another. Sometimes we gotta accept our muse might be the chump *sob emoji*

Ooc communication, I think its really funny actually how many people wait for the other person to be the one to reach out and how many times that doesnt happen bc they're both waiting for the other person to reach out. I feel like we should just make it a rule where if you follow someone, and they follow back its then your job to reach out. Just establish a system, follow > followed back > reach out. MIND YOU ALWAYS READ PPLS RULES! I know I have at least one friend who has in their rules not to reach out like the first two weeks bc of their anxiety!! But I think it should be a set of etiquette rules to reach out first if you followed first. That way we all know where the expectation is and no one feels like their over stepping. Bc this place is riddled with anxiety and yall need nervous bandanas lmfao maybe this will help!
