         It probably wasn’t a good idea to let Steven in on her intense self-hatred, but he had caught her at a bad time. The ocean gem curled tighter in on herself, hiding her face behind her knees.

“Where did you come from?”

Stomping back and forth, trying to blow off steam. Clearly something was bothering her but she was handling it her own way, by being mad. It wasn’t even that she was mad about something, she was just always annoyed. She froze when she was approached. “What do you want?”

(( I saw your like on the first one, honey ! just put it in the queue, so it’ll take a little while to show up, but I did get it done ! c: ))

        The serpent hissed lowly, shifting deeper into the corner of the barn in which she had situated herself. Mirror-esque eyes glared at the boy that had approached her, and she bared her fangs threateningly -- something deep within her, whatever part of her consciousness that hadn’t been corrupted on the mission that caused her to disappear, recognized Steven, and was unwilling to hurt him despite an instinctual need to  s u r v i v e  and fight.
