You know what is NOT normal? Trying to tell people what fictional ship they should like, accusing people of being a bad person over fiction, HARRASING people. Those things are not normal.

I get being uncomfortable with certain ships and topics even in fiction, but that does not give you excuse to condemn people over it.

Fiction is NOT reality. People are allowed to do whatever the hell they want with fiction as long as they don't harm any real being.

Someone shipping a fictional child with a fictional adult does not represent said person's real morality. This is like saying people who like Enemies To Lovers want to be romantically involved with people who hate them and/or who they hate.

You are free to ship whatever fictional ship you want. Go ahead and shio whatever fictional character you want. You also have the right to have trigger and discomfort around certain topics; there are reasons as to why the block button and the silence buttom exist.

Fictional characters are not real. They do not have actual feelings and rights like real humans do. You attacking someone for shipping Clementine with Luke or with any adult character will not make the cases of ACTUAL pedophilia in the real world drop in numbers. There are actual children being put into harm's way, and that is not the same as someone shipping two pixels. To think like that is disrespectful to victims of CSA.

1.) there is, to this day, no evidence of such a s2 script being produced by the telltale writers. in fact, when s2 came out so long ago, cluke was one of the most hated ships in the fandom. why in the world would telltale think, “huh! gotta sink this ship” when NOBODY liked it

It’s not that he cares about Clary more than the pack. It’s that Clary is his daughter. He was there through her mother’s pregnancy. Through Clary’s birth. He raised her since she was an infant. He’s known her and loved her since before she was born.
