((what media have you seen besides OITNB that casts a trans lady as a trans lady...? i see much more often cis dudes being cast as trans ladies. and yeah it does kinda come off as you pitching trans ladies versus trans dudes.))
((sense8 and boy meets girl are the two others ive seen. and i know. im trying not to but its not an easy thing to talk about without it sounding like i am. i was aiming for a more: is there a reason that this seems to be a thing right now? is this just me thats seeing the wrong media about trans guys? i couldve worded it a lot better, i was a bit frustrated. i have never witnessed a trans man/trans character match up in modern media, but have seen 3 trans woman/trans character match ups and i just wanted to know if i was consuming the wrong material in terms of trans men, or if what i personally have witnessed is actually the case, then can anyone think of why?))
