Oh dear! My favorite public house, the one with the most delightful ale and warm fireplaces, has closed down! Oh how I shall miss the cozy atmosphere and jolly company. How shall I pass my evenings now? And where shall I find a new spot to enjoy a spot of drink and good cheer? This is most vexing indeed. I suppose I shall have to frequent some other, less charming establishment. Sigh.
