The rapid flash of clicking cameras followed Nikita inside as she ducked into the small diner as fast as her leg would allow. After years of living in front of cameras one might've thought she’d be used to it by now. There was something unsettling about the fact that she knew they were only following her because of what had happened that night at the ball, though. As a deep breath filled her straining lungs she cast a quick glance around the mostly empty room and almost immediately her eyes caught on a face that had become all too familiar over the years. “Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?” The curve of her lips tipped into a smirk as she posted up beside his booth. “You have room for one more?”
