Perfect timing, Johnny was just returning from one of his many jogs around the island.

It took him a moment to realize who it was that stood waiting, but when he did, he was quick to stand up straight, trying to make himself look presentable, greeting the goddess with a small, polite bow, for he knew immortality when he saw it.

Your Majesty! What a welcomed surprise, may I ask what brings you all the way out here?

WHEN  ?  saturday  ,  morning  .

WHERE  ?  the  alley  café  (  faerie  )  .

WHO  ?  violet  rhodes  !

A  BIT  BUSY  THIS  MORNING  IN  THE  REALM’S  CAFÉ  .  .  .  and  they  didn’t  mind  it  all  that  much  .  reminded  them  of  new  york  and  it  was  nice  to  see  this  side  of  faerie  bustling  after  the  attack  .  it’d  been  a  spell  since  they’d  seen  faerie  at  all  ───  and  there  were  things  about  the  realm  they  were  missing  dearly  ,  but  most  of  all  it  was  the  ones  who  still  resided  within  it  .  violet  was  one  of  them  .  their  fondness  of  her  was  instantaneous  and  if  they  had  the  chance  to  spend  time  with  her  now  ,  they  were  beyond  overjoyed  .

they  weren’t  much  of  a  coffee  drinker  ───  or  drinker  in  general  ,  but  as  they  could  recall  most  other  species  were  .  they’d  found  themselves  lost  in  line  in  the  crowd  and  there  had  to  be  a  mix-up  because  before  they’d  even  ordered  they  were  handed  something  big  and  foamy  .  sure  ,  they  tried  to  send  it  back  ,  it  wasn’t  theirs  ,  but  at  this  point  it  was  causing  more  damage  ,  so  they  made  their  way  back  over  to  violet  .  ❛  the  barista  gave  me  a  .  .  .    white  chocolate  mocha    ,  do  you  want  it  ?  ❜  they  asked  ,  setting  the  drink  down  .

WHEN  ?  wednesday  ,  high  afternoon  .

WHERE  ?  medici  residence  (  faerie  )  .

WHO  ?  cosimo  de’  medici  !

FELT  LIKE  IT’D  BEEN  A  SPELL  .  .  .  since  last  they’d  seen  their  brother  and  his  children  .  unacceptable  .  the  majority  of  their  time  spent  in  new  york  after  the  attack  on  faerie  ───  and  it  wasn’t  because  they  were  afraid  or  reluctant  to  return  but  rather  they’d  found  a  new  home  .  they’d  met  up  with  one  medici  child  :  aurora  in  the  mystical  realm  ,  but  were  curious  about  isabella  and  liam  .  .  .  not  to  mention  they  were  missing  the  hell  out  of  their  brother  .  

they  rang  the  gate  ───  and  it  wasn’t  like  cosimo  couldn’t  sense  them  ,  just  as  they  couldn’t  he  .  but  manners  .  the  seraph  flew  around  to  an  outdoor  seating  area  and  made  themselves  comfortable  in  the  home’s  backyard  ,  careful  not  to  offend  any  charms  on  the  protected  family  .  the  medici  residence  was  certainly  more  elegant  than  a  new  york  city  apartment  .  then  again  ,  faerie  in  its  entirety  couldn’t  be  compared  .

WHEN  ?  monday  ,  late  afternoon  .

WHERE  ?  gyorog  farm  (  nyc  )  .

WHO  ?  lucille  gyorog  !

EXPLORING  WAS  SOMETHING  THEY  DID  ON  A  REGULAR  BASIS  .  .  .  it  sure  as  hell  beat  staying  in  the  same  place  ,  they’d  tell  you  that  one  for  free  .  new  york  city  had  many  pieces  to  it  ,  buildings  and  neighborhoods  that  were  occasionally  indistinguishable  from  the  other  .  they  thought  to  have  seen  most  if  not  all  ,  but  there  were  still  some  hidden  gems  ───  and  the  gyorog  farm  was  clearly  one  of  them  .  rare  to  see  such  a  vibrant  farm  in  the  city  ,  but  there  it  was  .  

couldn’t  tell  you  how  they  found  the  place  ,  but  they  landed  beside  the  potatoes  ,  radiating  energy  .  a  strong  smile  reaching  from  ear  to  ear  as  chocolate  eyes  danced  over  the  botany  around  them  ───  and  they  moved  down  the  row  before  stopping  at  one  in  particular  .  kneeling  down  ,  they  examined  the  withered  plant  closely  before  allowing  their  vis-vitae  to  assist  ,  giving  life  to  those  in  the  small  area  around  them  .  hard  for  them  to  remember  certain  places  are  fenced  off  for  a  reason  .
