♔— ....why was he out here again? A soft sigh escaped him as he made his way through the mess of rubble left over. It hadn't been more than maybe -- two hours? Running a hand through his hair, he let the silence of the area around him sink in. He could still hear the faint sounds of the people farther away. However they had to be, the ground where all the chaos from earlier had taken place was unstable-- after all, it'd been hollowed out and then beaten down pretty badly. Still, one person wouldn't make much of a difference.
♔— There were a lot of things left to think about in the aftermath, and not just about his own personal losses, but the losses of others as well. Still his mind kept wandering to one in particular, a small frown forming on his face-- yet the prince was to stubborn to let anything more than that pass across his features. Kicking a piece of rubbled as he scanned the area again, he raised an eyebrow as he noticed a handful of men, soldier no doubt, scurry in-- probably trying to see if there were any more bodies, he supposed.
♔— When he turned to leave, after noticing the 'shoo' gestures one of the men was making, he tripped suddenly. He barely managed to catch himself from running face first into a jagged rock. Huffing instinctively, he snapped his head towards his foot, still caught on the object that had caused him to fall.
♔— He immediately recognized it as an arm, jutting out from under rubble which had been conveniently formed like that of a tent-- more than enough space inside to accompany a full grown man. Still, it was impossible to see underneath. Squinting as he leaned in further, from the very corner of his eye he noticed something red-- immediately catching his attention with the familiar hue.
♔— Turning his head to it, there came a familiar label on the back of the unknown person's hand. In an instant his heart sped up and stomach dropped. Snatching out at it, he took not even a second's hesitation to pull the male out, immediately met with familiar, but at the same time unfamiliar, features and he spoon his head around, shouting out at the closest soldier. "H...hey! Help me....out here?" Still, as he spoke, he felt his throat tighten and his thoughts blur.
