“To be honest, I wasn’t sure. In fact, for a long time I was kind of scared of it. I was suspicious for a while of everyone who treated me kindly because I expected them to hurt me or betray me again. But Toby was so wonderful, and he never betrayed me or used me like I expected. He respected my boundaries too which was a big one for me. And eventually, I grew to trust him more, and here we are today!”
