First off, I really love how it showed more details on Croissant Cookie’s interactions with their friends. Hero Cookie helps them with their TBD work, and Sandwich Cookie also helps in her own way providing lunch. They all still seem to be on good terms, even with their differing respective paths, and I love that-

I think this scene alone does so much to show how far Timekeeper and Croissant’s friendship’s come. Croissant’s only reaction to the previously “dangerous and erratic” Timekeeper entering their office to steal their sandwich is a lighthearted sigh and a smile. This is a repeat occurrence; there’s no confusion, just mild shock as they realize who snatched their lunch. 

Final analysis (and I may be biased because, well, I am the clock):

1. Timekeeper still loves their old friends’ cooking.

2. They’re far from the dangerous constant “threat on a leash” that everyone makes them out to be. They’re free to come and go as they please without cause for alarm.
