Clock making stimboard for anon. Some clock facts:Â
đ°ď¸Â Englandâs Salisbury Cathedral Clock is worldâs oldest functioning clock, built in 1386.
đ°ď¸Â The NIST-F1 Cesium Fountain Clock is the worldâs most accurate clock. Developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Colorado, the clock will run precisely on time for the next 20 million years.
đ°ď¸  In October 1971, Joseph C. Hafele and Richard E. Keating tested the theory of relativity by flying four cesium-beam atomic clocks twice around the world east and west. When they compared them to the clocks at the United States Naval Observatory, the clocks were no longer in sync, indicating time dilation had occured.

Plants on a Pink Clock via A Beautiful Mess
The American Clock & Watch Museum (ACWM) in Bristol, CT has provided a temporary loan of an important orrery clock made by Zacharie-Nicholas-AmĂŠ-Joseph Raingo of France in the first quarter of the 19th century to the National Watch & Clock Museum. It is believed that only about 25 of these clocks were produced. Today, they can be found in important museum collections, including the MusĂŠe de lâHorlogerie, Besançon; the Royal Collection, Madrid; Glasgow Art Gallery the London Science Museum, and the British Royal Collection Trust.
An early 20th century time-lock by the E. Howard Clock Company.
